An in-house psychologist, reflective practice and real clinical backing.
Senior Residential Support Worker, children’s home, Croydon
Leading shifts, mentoring the team, holding the practice to a high standard while staying close to the children.
About the role
As a senior support worker you lead from the floor. You hold the practice to a high standard, mentor support workers, take charge of shifts, and make sure each child’s plan is followed with care and consistency. You are senior enough to guide a team through a hard day and close enough to the children to still be one of the steady adults in their lives. You will live PACE day to day, backed by an in-house psychologist and reflective practice, and you will help newer staff learn to do the same.
About the home, and Oasis
Oasis Manor Care runs a small, growing group of Ofsted-registered children's homes in Croydon, South London. Every home is long-term, and PACE is woven through everyday life (playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy), with an in-house psychologist supporting every child and every member of staff. We are a quality-led group, growing carefully, so there is real room to grow with us.
