Rosedene House

A solo, long-term therapeutic home for one child at a time, in Croydon, South London.

About the home

A calm house that is genuinely the child's own.

Rosedene House is a solo home, set up to be the home of one child at a time. That means the child gets the full attention of the team and a calm, settled house that is genuinely theirs. It sits in a residential street in Croydon, with a sensory room and a second lounge so there is always space to retreat and regulate.

We provide long-term placements, because children who have had instability need the opposite: time, consistency, and adults who stay. Care is built on PACE (playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy), supported by an in-house psychologist who sees the child and supports the staff team.

Ofsted

Rated Good by Ofsted.

Rosedene House is registered with Ofsted (URN 2841188) and regulated under the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Registered on 27 October 2025, it had its first graded inspection in April 2026 and was rated Good in all three areas: children's experiences and progress, how children are helped and protected, and the effectiveness of leaders and managers. The inspector noted that "staff create a warm, safe and welcoming environment." Read the full Ofsted report.
