A genuine route to registered manager as the group grows.
Deputy Manager, children’s home, Croydon
Running the home alongside the registered manager, leading on care planning and staff development.
About the role
As deputy manager you run the home alongside the registered manager and step up in their absence. You lead the staff team, drive the quality of care, and make sure every child’s plan is delivered to a high standard. You are accountable for practice on the ground: safeguarding, care planning, staff development and the daily culture of the home. This is a leadership role with real backing: an in-house psychologist, a quality-led organisation, and an experienced Operations Director and Responsible Individual above you. It is also a stepping stone. As we open new homes, strong deputies are who we look to first when we register a new home.
About the home, and Oasis

Every home is long-term, and PACE is woven through everyday life (playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy), with an in-house psychologist supporting every child and every member of staff. We are a quality-led group, growing carefully, so there is real room to grow with us.
